Psalm 119-11, (Kaf, “palm”)

Here is today’s prayer from Psalm 119-11 (Kaf, “palm”), verses 81-88:

God. Abba. Father.

Today we ask for your hand of blessing on our lives. Your word is our only hope. Your Word is our life. We will not forget your promises to us. We will not forget the many times you have rescued us.

We need your touch again, Lord. Somedays we are empty. Worn out. Spent. Exhausted. Isn’t it time yet, God?  Bring new life. Please bring healing. Bring revival. Bring redemption. Bring peace and joy to this world. To this Land. To your people. Thank you!

Your unfailing love never fails. Never. We trust you, God. We trust in your ways. We trust in your leading.

Revive our souls.

Through your Word, Jesus.

Amen.

We’re reading through, and with intentionality, praying through the Psalms during this school year. There are 150 Psalms, divided into 180 different readings. See this post for more info.
